2nd Gen Legacy 4eat to MT Harness Adapter

Our 4eat to MT harness adapter is 90% plug and play, with there being one wire that needs removed and replaced at the ECU, one wire added at the ECU, and one connector jumped out where the auto shifter used to be. This adapter works with N/A 5MT transmissions (two 2 pin connectors), and turbo 5MT and 6MT transmissions (one 4 pin connector). Verify which connector(s) your manual transmission has before ordering. This is currently only suitable for 95-98 Legacy/Outback, with more models coming soon!

At the automatic shifter, inside the vehicle, there will be a white connector for the Park Position Switch. You will need to jump this connector to itself so you can release the key from the ignition barrel. Most people cut the wires on the shifter side, and butt connector them together. This way, you can always just unplug it if you ever want to go back to an automatic in the future. We are working towards sourcing a connector for this to make it even more plug and play.
