Here's a quick, generic install guide for our plug and play ECU kits! We will do our best to keep this post current and up-to-date whenever parts/settings/etc change. You will need to purchase and install your own wideband O2 controller. Everything else is included with our kits. We recommend using an AEM 30-0300 wideband O2 controller.
1. Replace the upstream O2 sensor (whatever one is closest to the engine, before the cats) with the wideband O2 sensor.
2. Attach the vacuum line to a suitable fitting on the intake, after the throttle body (engine side), and route it through the firewall with the O2 sensor wiring.
2b. If H6/engine swapping, plug in the engine harness adapter to the engine plugs and the bulkhead harness.
3. Remove the factory ECU. It is typically located under the passenger foot well, though it is different for some models.
4. Open the ReetWire ECU to connect the wideband O2 Power, Ground, and Signal to the provided terminal blocks.
5. Close up the ReetWire ECU, attach the vacuum line, plug in the USB cable, and then reinstall the ECU where the factory ECU was located.
6. Connect the ReetWire ECU to your computer. Open TunerStudio. Load a base tune. Calibrate the sensors.
7. Start your engine!!!
8. Your vehicle will need tuning. Base tunes are meant only for starting the vehicle and tuning from there.
9. If you are comfortable and knowledgeable about tuning, TunerStudio is very intuitive, and most people tune their cars themselves.
10. For those who require professional tuning, DCWerx offers remote tuning services, and has many satisfied customers.
These are the current required settings, based on current firmware/hardware. We will do our best to keep this current as things change. If you notice discrepancies, please email us at: reetwire1@gmail.com
IAT Sensor: GM
Board Layout: UA4C
MAP Sensor: MPXH6400
CLT Sensor: Saab (Bosch)
Injector Layout: Semi-sequential for H4, paired for H6
O2 Sensor: If using an AEM 30-0300, the proper setting is "AEM Linear (30-2310 & 30-4900)"
